Booking
Bookings are made by request. When you ask to stay, we hold the deposit on your card; nothing is taken until we confirm, which we aim to do within 24 hours. If we cannot accept your booking, the hold is released at once.
Payment
A deposit of 30% of the total secures your stay, and is taken when we confirm. The balance is taken from the same card eight weeks before you arrive, and we write a week beforehand to remind you. If you book within eight weeks of arrival, the full amount is due at confirmation.
Damage deposit
Your card is kept on file as a damage deposit, up to the amount shown when you book. Nothing is taken unless something is damaged or missing beyond ordinary wear, and we shall always write to you first. The arrangement ends fourteen days after you leave.
Cancellation
- More than eight weeks before arrival: everything you have paid is refunded, less an administration charge of £50.
- Between eight and two weeks before arrival: the deposit is kept; anything paid beyond it is refunded.
- Within two weeks of arrival: no refund is due, though if we are able to let the dates again we shall refund what we can.
We recommend holiday insurance that covers cancellation. If we ever have to cancel your stay, you will receive a full refund.
Your stay
- Stays run Friday to Friday. The house is yours from 3pm on the day you arrive; we ask that you leave by 11am on the day you depart.
- The number of guests may not exceed the number booked. Dogs are welcome only where stated, and must be booked.
- Ince is a private estate and a working farm. Please keep to the paths and gardens shown in your arrival guide, and close the gates behind you.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the houses.
Your details
We use your details only to manage your booking and to write to you about your stay. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
